More than 25 PReVENT cars and trucks demonstrated the most advanced safety applications developed throughout this 4-year Integrated Project!
Its exhibition is the showcase event for active and preventive safety applications and was scheduled in collaboration with the European Commission’s i2010: Intelligent Car Initiative. Advanced safety technologies can make vehicles and roads safer by helping to avoid accidents and minimize injuries when accidents occur.
Taking place at the Versailles MOV'EO Test Track facility, the PReVENT event demonstrated all of the IP PReVENT preventive and active safety applications, including:

While the vehicles are running on the test tracks, a large exhibition village gathered all PReVENT subprojects in one single showcase and provide the perfect opportunity to meet the masterminds behind the PReVENT findings. And should you crave even more insight, a thematic conference highlighted the application fields through numerous technical presentations and enlightening discussion panels.

The event has been organised to appeal to a broad audience, involving not only those working in the preventive and active safety fields, but also high-level politicians and decision-makers, as well as the general public.
