D12.81. Interface Test Results
Public document
Executive summary This document describes the interface tests results for the MAPS&ADAS interface implementation as well as the collection and delivery of interface tests performed during the demonstration activities as part of the MAPS&ADAS subproject In the Scope of this document shows especially the test results to demonstrate the feasibility of the MAPS&ADAS interface.
This deliverable specifies further the test environment used in the MAPS&ADAS project in order to validate the specified MAPS&ADAS transmission methods. The test environment, to be implemented in this WP, realises the flow of information and how an implementation of the MAPS&ADAS interface performs on the container tests and on the vehicle and how it does influence the existing CAN traffic. For this reason, the first test task for all the OEMs is to evaluate the OEM specific properties of a possible interface usage on the own cars. This deliverable also addresses the definition of sample applications and test areas for different test scenarios, including presentation of the results. The most relevant applications and transmission methods are defined. Test environment is specified in detail: the concrete definitions of test scenarios, interfaces, and transmission formats are outlined in this work package.
The MAPS&ADAS interface tests are based on:
- ACC (Active Cruise Control) to evaluate the ADAS Interface implementation within a
series application and
- A TestContainer and visualisation module to test and validate the four ADAS Horizon
Provider systems developed within MAPS&ADAS
The selected applications are showing the efficiency of the proposed MAPS&ADAS transmission by demonstrating influenced CAN traffic reflecting background CAN traffic.
