Executive Summary
Three demonstrator vehicles - two trucks and a passenger car - and one test vehicle have been realized within SAFELANE. The finalization of the test- and demonstrator vehicles is the first activity in the work package WP31.500 on system test and evaluation and this deliverable concludes the corresponding subworkpackage SWP31.510 vehicle equipment.
The main objectives in WP31.510 were to integrate the systems on different experimental vehicles, to finally calibrate the sensors and to adopt and tune the software algorithms. This report is an accompanying document to the SAFELANE demonstrator and test vehicles as deliverable D31.51, comprising four vehicles:
- Demonstrator vehicle 1 – VTEC truck VOLVO FH12
- Demonstrator vehicle 2 – CRF truck IVECO Stralis 480 AS
- Demonstrator vehicle 3 – FhG passenger car BMW 325i
- Test vehicle 4 – LCPC passenger car Peugeot 307 SW.
