Technical abstract
This report summarises the concept results and algorithms for the data fusion strategies employed concurrently in COMPOSE: (i) early data fusion method and (ii) track-oriented fusion method. First, we present the operational context of the sensors used within the project, and describe the expected output of fusion. Then, a
short review of general data fusion concepts is done. We follow with the description of early and track-level fusion methodologies. For both techniques, we describe the input of the fusion module and do an overview of the internal mechanisms. We conclude giving the main steps of the development.
