Executive Summary
Evaluation in INSAFES has been based on the evaluation framework which has been defined in detail in D60.4: “Validation Plan” [19] that has been prepared on the basis of the PReVAL subproject procedure. The full validation plan for both types of evaluation (technical validation and HF assessment) can be found therein. The final systems have been tested with the VCC, VTEC and CRF demonstrator in on-road tests in order to assess technical performance with the assistance of one driver and the objects/pedestrians/cooperative vehicles required in each case. MAR, CAR and FAR as well as other indicators, applicable in each case to depict the functions performance, were measured and presented in the current Deliverable.
