European Consortium launches PReVENT Integrated Project for Active Safety

The four-year PReVENTive and Active Safety Applications Integrated Project (PReVENT IP) started the 1st February, under the coordination of DaimlerChrysler with management support from ERTICO and Irion Management Consulting. This undertaking will involve over 50 partners including all major European vehicle manufacturers as well as leading automotive technology suppliers and research institutes, to develop and validate a variety of preventive safety applications in a number of sub-projects and activities.
