Summary
This deliverable D12.91.2 contains the Validation Plan for the Driver Warning System. This system consists of two warning applications, the Hot Spot Warning and the Speed Limit Warning, and the ADAS map. The Hot Spot Warning application concept provides an anticipatory warning of (potentially) dangerous sites in the road network depending on environmental influences and current driving dynamics, while the Speed Limit Warning application displays the current speed limit and warns optically or acoustically the driver in case he or she is exceeding the speed limit. The ADAS map, a map enriched with safety relevant or ADAS attributes builds the basis for both applications, since it contains all necessary spatial information.
