Executive summary
This deliverable is the final report of the IP PReVENT subproject ProFusion2. It summarizes the objectives, the work done and the achievements of this cross-functional subproject. The Integrated Project (IP) PReVENT is addressing primarily active and preventive safety applications. The corresponding functions are widely relying on multi sensor perception strategies featuring sensor data fusion. Hence, the strategy of IP PReVENT was to initiate cross-functional (horizontal) sub-project to streamline and to develop the subject of multi sensor fusion in some greater degree of depth and in a more systematic approach as compared to the, primarily function-driven, vertical subprojects.
